Referees will announce any video assistant referee selections to soccer supporters inside stadiums in England for the primary time in the course of the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

The EFL stated in an announcement: “The brand new pilot embraces technological developments for the good thing about match officers and followers.

“This newest pilot has the assist of the EFL and follows earlier collaboration with PGMOL in 2018 to trial VAR in EFL competitions forward of its introduction within the Premier League.”
