Ryanair is pursuing authorized motion in opposition to a passenger who allegedly prompted a significant disruption on a flight from Dublin to Lanzarote.

The airline is searching for £12,500 in damages to cowl bills incurred when the aircraft needed to divert to Porto, Portugal.

On Wednesday, the airline introduced it had filed proceedings in opposition to the passenger, whose behaviour on the flight final April was described as “inexcusable” and “utterly unacceptable”.

Ryanair acknowledged that it’ll “proceed to take decisive motion to fight unruly passenger behaviour on plane” in an effort to make sure the security and luxury of all passengers.
