The US has accused the Sudanese paramilitary Fast Assist Forces (RSF) of committing genocide and imposed sanctions on its chief.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday stated Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, also referred to as Hemedti, was being punished for his position in “systematic” atrocities in opposition to the Sudanese individuals in the course of the 20-month battle.
